Wishbook Infoservices - Accelerating the Retail Process through an Easy-To-Use B2B App

CIO Vendor As more and more people use mobile devices for work, keeping in touch and accessing information on the go has become an everyday matter. This growing reliance on mobile devices has attracted a lot of attention from marketers and many companies are now finding ways to take advantage of this platform as a tool to generate leads and retain customers. Mobile Apps allow users to accomplish regular business operations more effortlessly, such as checking up on outsourced tasks or demonstrating new products and keeping the needs of the end user in mind. The app should also be able to assist customers in ordering and purchasing products quickly and safely at their own convenience.

Wishbook Infoservices, headquartered in Surat, has come up with an easy-to use mobile-first catalogue app. The app has accelerated the whole retail process from getting feedback from customers to taking it to the manufacturer. The app has solved many major issues and leveraged trust of the consumer by providing transparency across the entire process. “Wishbook app brings in the exact user behavior, ease and business semantics that are specific to the business,” states Arvind Saraf, Founder, Wishbook Infoservices.

Wishbook’s Digital Catalogue can be shared with everyone in the retail process from manufacturers to distributors to wholesalers and retailers, and enable salespersons to show catalogs, take orders and file daily reports. “This mobile and web app will replace the printed catalog books that are expensive and slow to share. Sale orders, purchase orders and backorders can be tracked, along with available designs or products by linking in inventory. Faster feedback on the styles will allow the manufacturer to better plan and repeat production,” elaborates Arvind.
Later, they plan to integrate the app with ERP and CRM systems allowing seamless order, inventory, and improved relationships with customers. Various interesting and actionable analytics reporting sits on top of the transactions placed on the platform, and the data is imported from various integrations through different softwares.

Other than the catalogue app, Wishbook also has a Business Dashboard. “Business Dashboard is designed for industry or company users who do not use one of the large standard ERPs, or cannot afford to have a strong MIS / Data Analytics or Visualization engine on top of the system. The pre-configured reports save on both, the Business intelligence software cost and setup required for the reports,” says Arvind.

Wishbook aims to enhance their products by adding features like supporting credit and order securitization, retail extensions, other marketplace integrations, various ERP and accounting workflow tool integrations, and effective analytics, data visualization and forecasting. Wishbook also aspires to expand internationally after a few years due to the extensive mobile presence there. “We already piloted in the women’s ethnic wear category, and have already reached 5000 merchants pan-India. Over the next 12 months, we are looking forward to enter into cotton based ethnic wear, structured garments, t-shirts, woolens, home textiles, footwear and handicrafts ,” concludes Arvind.
